This hack trick that I’m gonna teach you is only for developing your knowledge and I request you not to use it for any illegal purpose. MAC Spoofing is the name of the trick that I’m gonna teach you now and the following are the step by step explanation:
1. Uninstall Your WhatsApp Application
First of all, uninstall your WhatsApp application from your mobile phone completely so that you can perform this trick easily without any issues. You can install it again at the end of this method. So don’t worry!!!
2. Get Your Victim’s Phone And Find Out The MAC Address
You need your victim’s phone for getting some information and it will not take that much time to get those information. After getting your victim’s phone, open the mobile and find out the MAC address which is a unique address given to every device. This MAC address is made of six pairs of letters or numbers and it will look like (01:22:41:63:43:gh)
You can get this MAC address detail by clicking Settings -> About Phone -> Status -> Wi-Fi MAC address
Please take a piece of paper and note down this MAC address of your victim’s phone.
3. Find Your Phone’s MAC Address And Note It Down For Further Use
Similarly, like above, find your mobile phone’s MAC address and note it down for restoring it after performing this method.
4. Change Your Phone’s MAC Address To That Of Your Victim’s MAC
By changing your phone’s MAC address to that of your victim’s MAC will convince WhatsApp that you are the specific victim when you log in.
And then install the BusyBox App and some good terminal emulator app from play store.
In the terminal, type “ip link show” to see a list of interfaces available. Identify the one which has your MAC address (For this example, I’m going to use the eth5 interface). Then again, enter “ip link set eth5 address ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ” and “ip link set eth5 broadcast ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ”, where the eth5 is the interface of yours and ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ:ZZ is your victim’s MAC address. To check whether you’ve successfully changed your MAC address or not, enter “ip link show eth5” in the terminal interface.
5. Now Install WhatsApp And Login Using Your Victim’s Number
Now Install WhatsApp again and log in using your victim’s mobile number. By doing so, you can see those messages of your victim’s WhatsApp account. Once again you need your victim’s mobile for getting that verification code which you need to log in to their account. That’s it. It’s all done. Now you can see all their messages.
If you no longer want to spy your victim, you can change your MAC address back to yours. Repeat the above instructions which I already mentioned for changing the MAC address back to yours. This will restore your phone’s MAC address back to its original state.
